Round the Lake

In a moment of craziness 4 of us have decided to enter the Lake Taupo cycle challenge in November.Its roughly 168kms around Lake taupo which we will do about 40kms each on the T12.Thats going to be a great challenge especially with all those hills on the western side.Better get training.!

Sunny sunday

Had a great time with my boy on his T6 and me on my T12.Found a nice smooth area in a new shopping complex.Tried to take on a few kerbs by leaning back as I hit them.Worked ok but will have to try a few more.My boy was great on the T6 considering he is only 4yrs old.Tried a bit of hill technique on one of the slight slopes didnt feel too bad really.Roll on summer.

T8 to work

Had a great cruise to work this morning on the T8 air,had a bit of practice going from road to footpath and back again.I just shifted my weight back a bit when going over the bump and it seemed to help.
The T8 is easier to scoot along with when I have to give myself a little push on the uphill sections.I will get this hill climbing thing sorted......One DAY!

Weekend in Palmy

Just had a relaxing weekend in Palmy catching up with the folks and checking out possible trikke areas.Certainly around Palmy there was a few good spots around the Lido pool area and there was a really cool walkway around the southern entry to town which looked very trikkeable?

T8

Had fun riding the T8 poly to work,it was especially fun on the nice smooth surfaces not so great on the rough stuff.Probably for Taupo the T8 Air would be better but for places like the waterfront in Napier the T8 poly would be ideal.
Will take on of the T8's away this weekend to Palmy and see whats happening down there.

Just like xmas

It was fun unloading our first shipment of trikkes to New Zealand.
We quickly put together a T8 air and and took it for a test run.
The T8 seems very quick compared to the T12 and more responsive but time will tell.
Roll on this weekend so that we can try the T8 poly and T6 as well.

First load of trikkes

Its getting exciting here in Taupo as the first load of trikkes arrives this week.
I am getting T12,T8 Air and Poly and the T6 for those a bit smaller.Its going to be fun trying the different models and see how they handle various conditions.
I know the kids are looking forward to trying the T6 model.Its going to be a fun week.

Wet morning

Tried my T12 out on the wet road this morning on the way to work.Went fine,not that I pushed it too hard but was happy to get to work without any problems.Not sure if the poly wheels would go as good.

I have been thinking and working on this for a while and after many emails to the head office of Trikke International I have come to a agreement to be able to sell trikkes in New Zealand.
I think kiwis will enjoy the combination of fun and fitness.

T12 at work

Had the T12 at work most of this week and I must say it was a hit.Nearly everyone that saw it had a go.Bringing the T12 home was a challenge as I live up a steep hill but it was a great work out anyway,even though I couldnt ride it all the way.
Now that we have passed the longest day-ROLL on Summer.!
