hills

Have had a few goes at a variety of hills,smalls ones,bigger ones and almost flat ones.The almost flat ones are ok but anything bigger and my t12 comes to a slow grinding halt eventually.Watched the hill climbing video a few times now but no joy.Will have another crack this weekend.Trikke on.

Took the beast out yesterday at lunchtime.It was a beautiful taupo day and wharewaka point was our testing area.We tried uphill and downhill slopes,nothing too radical but it was good to try a bit of hill climbing and be able to do big carves downhill.A great way to spend a lunch hour.

the best so far

Well last weekend has been the best trikking so far.There was miles of lovely flat path and correctly inflated tyres and a angle change on the handle bars and it all came together and I felt the sweet spot.Rode for about 2hours until I was stuffed.Loved it.Had quite a few positive comments.Cant wait to get out there again.

missed out

Its funny I have only had my t12 a little while but when I didn,t get a chance to ride on the weekend I feel like I really missed out on something.Must be part of the addiction to fun that trikke brings on.!

Slowly ,slowly.

Well have had my first weekend with my t12,managed to spend a bit of time on it and its feeling a little better everytime I ride it.Leaning and using the shoulder seems to be part of the answer and then there's the legs to think about.
Its great learning and feeling it working,now and again at least!

twice now

Well have had a couple of goes now and tonight was a bit better but I still need to lead with my shoulders to get things going.
My family are enjoying the T12 as well even though its a bit big for them.The weekend is coming up so I hope I will have lots of time to get trikking.

First time

We after much mucking around and testing the brakes.I finally got the T12 out on the road.
Didnt really get too far but got a little feel for it.I have to practice my leaning and turning.
Tomorrow is another exciting trikke day.

T12 is in the house

I have a great big t12 roadster box sitting on the floor of my office,begging me to put it together.
Sadly all my tools are at home so I will have to wait,but she looks beautiful.!!!

Trikke Sweat

According to lots of different forums and blogs there seems to be a generally good feedback about getting your workout on a trikke.You can either have relaxed arms and really push the legs or vice versa.
Sounds good to me,I like the idea of switching your work out area easily and obviously getting a good workout to and from work.
Now I have to check out how trikke's go in the rain?

Route planning

On my ride home tonight on my mountain bike I was imagining what route I would take with my t12.I tend to go straight up the steepest hill on the way home,that might be bit of a challenge on my new t12.Although it seems that coming down hill is harder,well at least according to all the videos.We will see.

Trikke comes to Taupo

Well yesterday I bit the bullet and ordered my first trikke the 'T12" roadster.I should arrive in a couple of days and I can't wait to get it out on the streets of Taupo and see what it can do.
The 'T12' looks like bit of a beast,I hope it rides as good as it looks in all the videos I watched.
